Beautiful property with great facilities. Ideal peaceful location, short distance from Ambleside and Windermere. The decked area has a special view. Perfect for a group of four, with stairs that keep you fit.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration throughout the cottage. It made me feel right at home and brought back fond memories of staying in cottages during my younger years. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. I appreciated the thought that went into ensuring that the cottage was comfortable and convenient for guests of all ages.

It would have been even more enjoyable for senior people if there were handrails installed on the stairs. It can be a little challenging for us to navigate stairs without proper support.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Woodside Cottage, nestled between Ambleside and Windermere. From the moment I stepped through the door, it felt like a home, away, from, home. the cottage was incredibly comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. the owners have thought of every detail. the convenient parking space right outside the door and the stunning views of Windermere Lake from the back seating area were definite highlights. The location was perfect for exploring both towns and the surrounding area. Cons: Nothing bad to say! 😊.

The Woodside Cottage in Troutbeck Bridge was an absolute gem! The room was cozy and charming, with a touch of rustic elegance. I instantly felt at home in the comfortable bed, and the 2 bathrooms with a shower were a real treat. Oh, and did I mention they had a hairdryer? Perfect for styling my backpacker hair!

To be honest, the only thing that didn't quite tickle my fancy was the size of the room. It was a tad on the smaller side for my liking.

I would have appreciated if the checkout time was a bit later, perhaps 10am instead of 9am, to allow for a more relaxed morning. The children working there were very helpful, but a later checkout time would have made the vacation even better for senior people like myself.

Mind-blowing location between two towns, super comfortable and well-equipped cottage, jaw-dropping views, convenient parking, top-notch kitchen appliances, free parking.
